Makes 12-16 biscuits
Dry Ingredients:
3 C. All purpose flour
2 T Baking Powder
1 1/2 t salt
Wet Ingredients:
1 C Whole Milk
1 C Butter
Mix dry ingredients then cut in butter. Next mix in milk then turn out onto a floured board and Knead until smooth and elastic.
Roll out dough to about 1/2“ thick and cut with a 2” round cookie cutter. Place on metal sheet with baking parchment. Place on upper shelf of Brava. Select Bake, preheat to 400 degrees. Set timer to 15 minutes. Check to make sure that both tops and bottoms of biscuits are browned to your liking before removing.
A few tips:
Be sure to use real butter. Make sure you cut the butter into the dry ingredients before adding the liquid. Knead until smooth and elastic and the dough no longer sticks to your fingers. (tip: remove any rings or jewelry around your hands that the flour might get caught in)
It makes the biscuits flake better if you refridgerate the biscuits on the metal sheet about 10 minutes before placing them in the oven.
