About this Custom Cook

Ingredients:

2 lbs. pork belly
Seasoning of your choice
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Instructions:

Cut pork belly into thick 1/2-inch slices. Then cut about 3/4 ways in towards the skin of the pork belly. Thoroughly dry with paper towel leaving no moisture on each piece.

Rub with seasoning or just salt and baking powder.

Cover your Brava metal tray with aluminum foil and place pork bellies on top. Place on top rack and press green button. Once the Brava pauses, flip over each piece and press green button again. (note: if there is too much rendered fat in pan very carefully remove from Brava and discard some of the fat).

Once finished, allow to cool slightly and serve with lime wedges.

Note: You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of your pork and their initial temperature. Keep an eye on it and cook longer if needed. Think of it as a super thick cut of bacon!
