About this Custom Cook

1 pound of ground beef or ground turkey.
1/2 cup of chopped onion.
2 cloves of chopped garlic.
1 envelope (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning (low sodium).
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce.
1 can (16oz) of retried beans. (Vegetarian refried beans works well).
1can (4oz) chopped green chiles, drained.
1/2 cup of sliced black olives.
Tostito tortilla chips.

1 cup dairy sour cream.
1egg beaten.
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease rectangular baking dish. ( Chef’s pan is perfect)

Brown ground beef or turkey with onion and garlic in a 10 inch skillet. Drain, stir in taco seasoning,tomato sauce, beans , Chile and olives.

Break tortilla chips into smaller pieces and cover bottom of baking dish.
Spoon beef or turkey mixture over chips.

Mix egg, sour cream, and cheese in a small bowl and spread over beef or turkey mixture. Spread evenly with spatula.
Crumble more tortilla chips and spread over entire top of mixture.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.

Remove and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
