About this Recipe

Adobo Sauce is a classic sauce made all around the world. It comes in different colors, types and names but is always used as a sauce or marinade to flavor and preserve meat. This variation hits all the classic notes. The process is as easy as ever thanks to the Brava. Load up the loaf pan, press go and then blend once done. You can use it with any type of meat or as a dipping sauce for your favorite dishes. As a note, this recipe called for dried chiles - if you can’t find them in your grocery store, we’ve provided easy substitutions. Provecho!

Ingredients

  • 1.0 cups pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cups white vinegar
  • 1.0 tablespoons oregano
  • 0.25 ground cumin
  • 1.0 ground cloves
  • 2.0 count green onions, ½” slices
  • 1.0 count dried Pasilla chile, seeds removed (or 1 tablespoon paprika)
  • 1.0 count dried Guajillo chile, seeds removed (or 1 tablespoon canned chipotle in adobo sauce)
  • 1.0 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prep loaf pan

    • In Brava Loaf Pan, put pineapple juice, vinegar, oregano, ground cumin, cloves, onion, Pasilla Chile, Guajillo Chile and garlic.
    • Slide loaf pan into top shelf and press green button to start cooking.

    Finish and blend sauce

    • When sauce is done, pour contents of loaf pan into blender.
    • Blend for at least 3 minutes, starting on a low speed, gradually increasing speed until smooth consistency.

    Enjoy or store

    • Enjoy as is, marinate with meat, or store in your refrigerator for a future date.
