Steak with Roasted Garlic Butter

What takes a steak to the next level? Garlic and butter, or even better, Brava’s Roasted Garlic Butter recipe. Make the compound butter first and use it to finish New York Steaks. As a note, the garlic butter pairs beautifully with filets and ribeyes as well.

Ingredients

  • 1.0 count NY Strip Steak
  • 1.0 tablespoons Garlic butter
  • Kosher Salt
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

    Cook steak

    • Cut 1” piece (about 1 tablespoon) of roasted garlic butter, set aside.
    • Pat steak dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with kosher salt.
    • Place in Zone 2 of Brava metal tray.
    • Slide metal tray into bottom shelf. Press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: Brava will notify you to remove metal tray, flip steak and add butter approximately midway through the cook.

    Flip steak and add butter

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray.
    • Using tongs, flip steak. Press steak down so that the bottom of steak is in full contact with metal tray.
    • Place piece of butter on top of center of steak.
    • Slide metal tray into bottom shelf. Press button to continue cooking.

    Finish and serve

    • When Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray.
    • Immediately transfer steak to cutting board.
    • Let steak rest for 2 minutes.
    • Slice steak and serve with freshly cracked black pepper and more roasted garlic butter, if desired.
