Ingredients
- 1.0 count small head of broccoli
- 1.0 teaspoons olive oil
- cooking spray such as avocado oil spray
- 1.0 cups shredded Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino cheese, or combination of the two, plus more for finishing
- lemon pepper seasoning, and fresh lemon wedges for serving (optional)
- cooking oil
- kosher salt and black pepper

Prep broccoli & cheese
- Cut broccoli into florets and cut florets in half lengthwise to create flat edges.
- Toss florets with olive oil and few pinches kosher salt or lemon pepper seasoning, if desired, set aside.
- Spray Brava Metal Tray with thin layer of avocado oil spay.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly across Zones 1, 2, & 3 of metal tray.
- Arrange broccoli on top of cheese, flat sides down, and use bottom of measuring cup to press down on the broccoli to smash it a bit.

Cook broccoli
- Select “Parmesan Smashed Broccoli” on the touchscreen and follow instructions to slide metal tray into top shelf.
- Press green button to begin cooking.

Finish & serve
- When food is done cooking, transfer to serving plate in one sheet or break up into pieces. Serve warm and enjoy with fresh lemon if desired.
