Ground Turkey Lettuce Cups

About this Recipe
This recipe is inspired by Larb Gai, Thai lettuce cups. Press the green button to let Brava cook the ground turkey while you prep a flavorful sauce. Once the turkey is cooked, you’ll toss it with that savory sauce along with aromatics, fresh herbs, and peanuts for crunch. Spoon into lettuce cups and dinner is served.
Ingredients
- 1.0 ground turkey
- For the sauce:
- 0.25 cups soy sauce
- 1.0 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2.0 teaspoons neutral oil, such as canola or grapeseed
- 2.0 teaspoons honey
- 2.0 teaspoons peanut butter or any nut butter
- 2.0 count garlic cloves, minced
- 2.0 count limes, juiced
- 0.25 cups peanuts, chopped
- 2.0 count green onions, sliced
- 1.0 count shallot, thinly diced
- 1.0 count jalapeno pepper, diced, seeds and pith removed to reduce the spice
- Few pinches fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1.0 teaspoons each of the following: miso, chili crunch, toasted rice powder (optional)
- For serving:
- 8.0 lettuce, such as butter, romaine, or bibb lettuce
- lime wedges

Instructions

Cook turkey
- Place ground turkey in Brava square pan.
- Select “ground turkey lettuce cups” on touchscreen and follow instructions.
- Slide Square pan into top shelf and press green button to begin cooking.

Make sauce & prep vegetables
- In medium bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oil, honey, peanut butter, lime, and garlic, stir well.
- To bowl with sauce, add peanuts, green onion, shallots, jalapenos, and mint.
- Stir in miso, chili crunch, and toasted rice powder, if using.
- Arrange lettuce cups on large plate or platter.

Finish & serve
- When turkey is done cooking, transfer to medium bowl with sauce; toss to coat evenly.
- Distribute into lettuce cups.
- Serve with lime wedges and enjoy.
