Pressed Cuban Sandwich

by Chef George Duran

About this Recipe

A classic Cuban Sandwich is made with thinly sliced ham, pork, mustard, and pickles, and served in a soft white roll that’s crisped up on the outside. Here, Chef George gives this recipe a spin in the Brava by taking advantage of the metal tray to get that coveted crispy exterior. This sandwich is cooked open-faced—simply butter the outside of the bread before cooking, and let the weight of the ingredients do all the pressing for this classic Cuban-American sandwich.
