BLT (Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich)
by Brava Chef Andrew
About this Recipe
A BLT is a classic for a reason—a few, simple ingredients add the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and savory flavors with just the right amount of crunch. Purists add a thin layer of mayo to the toasted bread slices before assembling, but swap in mashed avocado or any of your other favorite additions. This recipe calls for Roma tomatoes, but any variety of ripe, summer tomato will work as well. Chef Andrew uses sliced sourdough here—if you want to use a different type of bread, simply run the Brava bacon recipe program, followed by the Brava toast recipe program.
