About this Recipe
Just when you thought a classic PB&J couldn’t get any better, Chef Andrew Brava-tized it. Taking notes from the grilled cheese, this sandwich toasts with butter on the outside of the bread for a crispy, golden brown exterior. The peanut butter and jelly warm up and melt together for a sandwich that’ll become a lunchtime favorite.
Ingredients
- 2.0 White Bread
- 2.0 tablespoons Peanut butter
- 2.0 tablespoons Fruit Jelly (any)
- Butter

Assemble sandwich
- Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread, and jelly on the other.
- Close sandwich and spread a thin, even layer of butter on outsides of each slice of bread.
- Place sandwich in zone 2 of metal tray.

Toast sandwich
- Slide metal tray into bottom shelf.
- Select “Grilled PB&J” on your Brava touchscreen and follow instructions.

Serve
- When your food is done, cut sandwich in half and serve.
