Soy-Ginger Marinated Flank Steak

About this Recipe

This flank steak packs a punch of flavor thanks to soy sauce and other simple aromatic ingredients. Marinate flank steak for anywhere from one to twenty four hours, quickly cook in the Brava, and bring it all together with thinly sliced scallions.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 flank steak
  • 0.25 cups soy sauce
  • 1.0 tablespoons sugar
  • 1.0 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1.0 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2.0 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 2.0 count garlic cloves, grated or minced
  • Sliced scallions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

    Prep marinade and steak

    • In small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, sesame oil, ginger and garlic.
    • Pour marinade over flank steak and let sit for 1-24 hours.

    Cook steak

    • Shake off excess marinade from steak.
    • Place steak in center of Brava metal tray.
    • Slide metal tray into bottom shelf.
    • Follow instructions on the Brava and press green button to begin cooking.
    • Note: You will flip steak after 7 minutes.

    Flip steak

    • Once Brava notifies you, carefully remove metal tray, flip steak, and press green button to continue cooking.

    Serve and enjoy

    • Once cook is completed, carefully remove metal tray.
    • Transfer steak to serving platter and top with sliced scallions, if using, and serve.
