About this Recipe

These pita chips are a delicious, crunchy snack. No deep frying necessary! All you need is some pita and olive oil and the Brava will take care of the rest. While delicious as is, feel free to add your favorite spices, such as zaatar, to pita before baking. Chef Erin serves these with a side of hummus, and they are also delicious on their own or with any dip you like.

  • 2.0 count Pitas
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher Salt

Instructions

    Prepare pita

    • In small bowl, combine olive oil with a couple pinches of kosher salt. Set aside.
    • Cut each pita into 6 triangles.
    • Place each triangle of pita evenly across Zones 1, 2 and 3 of Brava metal tray.
    • Using silicone brush or your fingers, brush both sides of pita with olive oil.

    Bake pita

    • Slide metal tray into top shelf.
    • Press green button to begin cooking.

    Finish and serve

    • When ready, carefully remove metal tray from Brava.
    • Transfer pita chips to serving platter and let cool completely before serving to allow them time to crisp up.
