Patty Melt
by Brava Chef Andrew
About this Recipe
The Patty Melt is the sandwich of your dreams - a juicy burger patty, melted cheese, and grilled onions between slices of toasted rye. Born in a Los Angeles diner in 1932, this quintessential sandwich has since spread beyond LA to diner menus across the world. Now, Brava lets you make it at home in less than 20 minutes! Feel free to add your own favorite toppings like bacon, avocado, hot peppers, or fire off an additional burger and make yours a double. This recipe calls for rye bread, and sourdough or Texas toast are great options, too.
